Introduction

Structured Change uses a zipper metaphor. The zipper represents the fact that once its teeth have been pulled together the zipper needs to hold (‘sustain’) until the next conscious change. Making sure the zipper remains together is further assured by the Structured Change Framework (SCF) approach. One side of the zipper represents change (Intangible) while on the other side of the zipper representing delivery (Tangible).

Structured Change is built upon exploring the question of why we are doing something in the first place and converting that why into a structured approach in order to generate and sustain a Collective Intent that delivers sustained value to stakeholders.

A Collective Intent enables us to empower and align people to deliver value in an open and honest way. I use the word honest because trust upward, downward and across is in my view is one of the successful facets of Change.
